Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actress, performer, and writer who is best known as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. Her Two's Company musical was the first show she performed in for her first stage appearance. In the 1950s, she acted as a stage artist in a few Broadway shows before gaining her way to national prominence with Li'l Abner' in 1957. Her album, It's too late for Tina the same year. Louise first made it to Hollywood as Griselda Walden, in God's Small Acre, a film from 1957 that was a dramatic. This film became hugely popular and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. While a student at Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. The next role she starred in was through in 1964 when she was signed by CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise worked successfully in both Hollywood and Broadway in roles that were more serious to counter her image of glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 & Sanctuary but she also was a successful television director with numerous series, including Supernatural and The 100. She was birthed in Essex on August 28 in 1965. Her family later moved to Toronto for her childhood. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the role, and has remained to Toronto since then.
