April Bowlby has been an American actor as well as model for a period of more than 20 years. Her roles included Kandi, Stacy Barrett and Rita Farr from the CBS Comedy Series Two and a Half Men. April Michelle Bowlby has a long history in American acting. The most memorable role is Stacy Barrett, in Drop Dead Diva (a fantasy/legal comedy television series), and Kandi playing Kandi on Two and a Half Men. The modeling industry was her first profession followed by films and television programs. For CSI: Crime Scene Investigation Her first appearance on TV was in a scene with a background character. For Two and a Half Men she was cast as Kandi. Bowlby has gained worldwide recognition for her role as Stacy Barrett, in the successful television series Drop Dead Diva. She played Rita Farr/Elastigirl, a regular on the American show Titans. The spin-off series Doom Patrol will see her reprise her role as the character. Bowlby also appeared on TV in films like Sands of Oblivion, The Wrong Daughter and Sands of Oblivion 2. After her roles in The Slammin Salmon (which was her debut feature), and From Prada, to Nada she made her first appearance on the big screen in All Roads Lead Home. Bowlby was born in Manteca and attended East Union High School. Before deciding to pursue acting as a profession and directing, she took classes in French and ballet classes at Moorpark College. After studying drama under Ivana Chubb, she landed the lead role (Kandi on Two and a Half Men) just a few months after making her Hollywood debut. Bowlby's TV roles include CSI as Kaitlin rackish, in which she portrayed Kaitlin rackish in 2004; CSI: NY and CSI: NY, in which she as Jenny Lee in 5, Freddie: Sydney as Sydney in 5 as well as How I Met Your Mother: Meg. In the past, Bowlby played the part as Natasha in All Roads Lead Home a 2007 film about a 12-year-old year old girl that loses her mother in an auto accident. Bowlby will be starring as Mia as she appears for The Slammin Salmon (2008). She resides Los Angeles. Her natural hair is red with blue-green eyes. She is a single woman who has no children.
