Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is a American as well as a Canadian artist and singer. She has more than twenty albums. Her songs are classified by the label as folk or alternative rock. However, they also are influenced by hip-hop music, jazz, and punk. Ani Difranco is believed to be a feminist hero and a Grammy award-winning. As one of first female artists in the 1990s, DiFranco founded her own label. DiFranco was born in Buffalo New York on September 23rd, 1970. She was she was the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross) and Dante Americo DiFranco The couple had made acquaintance while studying at in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her father was of Italian ancestry and her mom was Montreal-born. Ani Difrasco wrote and recorded the hit song "32 Flavors". It is featured on the album Not a Pretty Girl by Ani DiFranco that was released in 1996. A version of the song can be heard in the film Canadian romantic film Better Than Chocolate. DiFranco apologized in 2013, after it was revealed that she had scheduled a three-day conference in the Louisiana plantation. Even though she canceled the event several participants (including the authors of our article) did not see any guilt. DiFranco apologized for her mistake a couple of days afterward. While she's been referred to by the name of Little Folksinger her music has embraced many kinds of genres and collaborates between Pete Seeger to Chuck D to Prince. She is from New Orleans.
